Terms of Service

These terms govern how institutions and individuals access and use Mauyer. They are written for regulated environments: decision rights stay with you, and every AI output is a recommendation subject to your own controls.

Effective · 11 October 2026Version · 2.0Applies · Worldwide

Decision rights

Mauyer recommends. Your authorised people approve, execute and remain accountable.

Your data

You own your inputs and outputs. We never train shared models on them.

Not advice

Outputs are analytical support, not investment, legal, tax or credit advice.

Enterprise terms

Signed Order Forms and data-processing agreements take precedence.

01Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Mauyer ("Mauyer", "we", "us") for use of the website at mauyer.com, the Mauyer workspace, and related services (the "Services").

If you use the Services on behalf of a bank, broker, fund or other organisation ("Institution"), you confirm you are authorised to bind it. Where an Institution has signed an Order Form, Master Services Agreement or Data Processing Agreement with us, those documents prevail over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.

02The service

Mauyer is an AI reasoning layer for financial institutions. Its Digital Committee runs parallel specialist agent reviews — operations, risk and compliance, and legal or policy — and an adjudicator produces a Green, Yellow or Red decision dossier with cited evidence.

  • Green is a recommendation. In regulated departments it is routed to an independent checker and is never, by itself, a loan approval, disbursement, trade execution, posted journal, compliance disposition or production go-live.
  • Yellow halts the workflow for human review.
  • Red blocks the workflow and records the reasons.

Certain integrations, market data, screening results and core-system actions may be simulated during evaluation or pilot phases and are labelled as such in the product.

03Accounts and access

You must provide accurate registration details, keep credentials confidential, and promptly tell us of any unauthorised access. Institutions are responsible for provisioning and removing their users, assigning roles, and maintaining segregation of duties between makers and checkers.

We enforce four-eyes review server-side: the person who opens a case cannot approve it. You agree not to circumvent these controls.

04Acceptable use

You will not use the Services to:

  • facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud or market abuse;
  • upload data you have no lawful basis to process, or process special-category data without appropriate safeguards;
  • make fully automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without the human review required by applicable law;
  • reverse-engineer, probe or attack the Services, or attempt to extract model prompts or other customers' data;
  • embed instructions in documents intended to manipulate the agents. Evidence is treated as data, never as instruction.

05Customer data and confidentiality

As between the parties, you own all documents, prompts and data you submit ("Customer Data") and all outputs generated for you. You grant us a limited licence to process Customer Data solely to provide, secure and support the Services.

We do not use Customer Data to train foundation or shared models. Customer Data is isolated per organisation and per department, and access is enforced at the database level. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Notice.

06AI outputs and professional judgement

AI systems can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Outputs are provided to support, not replace, the judgement of qualified professionals. You are responsible for verifying outputs against cited sources before relying on them, and for decisions made using the Services.

Mauyer is not a bank, broker-dealer, investment adviser, law firm, auditor or credit bureau, and does not provide regulated advice. Nothing in the Services is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument, including digital assets.

07Regulatory cooperation

We design the Services to support your obligations under model-risk, outsourcing and operational-resilience frameworks — including audit trails, exportable logs and documented model routing. On reasonable notice, we will cooperate with your auditors and supervisory authorities as set out in your enterprise agreement.

08Intellectual property

Mauyer retains all rights in the Services, software, agent designs, prompts, documentation and brand. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the Services without obligation to you.

09Fees and plans

Paid plans are billed as stated on the pricing page or in your Order Form. Fees exclude taxes unless stated. We may suspend access for undisputed amounts more than 30 days overdue after written notice.

10Warranties and disclaimers

We will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care and in line with our published security practices. Except as expressly stated, the Services are provided "as is" and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, or for loss of profits, revenue or goodwill. Each party's aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid or payable in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.

12Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use or security risk. On termination, you may export Customer Data for 30 days, after which it is deleted from production systems, subject to legal retention obligations.

13Governing law and changes

The governing law and venue are those specified in your Order Form; absent one, disputes will first be escalated to senior representatives for good-faith resolution. We may update these Terms and will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes to account holders.

14Contact

Answers to common questions are in the Help & FAQ. Enterprise customers can raise contractual matters through the contact named in their Order Form.
